There are two categories of flower velvet and plain velvet. Flower velvet cuts a part of the pile loop into pile according to the pattern. The pile and pile loop are two colors to form the pattern. The surface layer of plain velvet is all pile loop. Velvet piles or loops stand inseparably, with gloss, abrasion resistance, and not easy to fade. 2. How about velvet fabric-what kind of fabric is it?
velvet fabric is made of raw silk such as cocoon armour, mulberry silk is also used as warp, pure cotton yarn is interlaced weft, and mulberry silk or polyester is used for pile loops. Both warp and weft are first opened or half opened, colored, and twisted before spinning. According to different main purposes, different raw materials can be used for hand-knitting.
In addition to the mulberry silk and polyester mentioned above, it can also be woven with different raw materials such as cotton, eye, viscose silk, polyester cloth and cotton. Therefore, the velvet fabric is not really woven with velvet, but its touch and layering are as delicate and shiny as velvet.
